This is the web site for some of my explorations and travels in technology and geeky mad inventions.

I have been a keen electronics enthusiast for near on 40 years now starting off with ransacking my sister's radio and hairdryer for parts and progressing from there. I am fascinated by the theoretical possibilities posed by combining sometimes mundane and simple systems into larger orchestrated solutions.

I have also been a software engineer for a long time, starting at the age of 14 on an old ZX Spectrum 16K and later turning this into my full time carreer, which I have been developing software professionally for 37 years now. I feel very lucky to be able to do something I love for a living and feel not everyone gets to say that when they finish work for the day they often do more of the same for fun.

Anyway this site has been migrated through a few incarnations as of late. Weebly, Joomla, Wordpress and now after a lot of headaches with each I am just coding it from scratch seeing as I am theortically a pro at this.

So please bear with me as I bring this site up to scratch and get all the infrastructure ironed out, there are still a few issues around DNS and redirects in my reverse proxy, so things may be intermittent. Please come back soon.
